Busara Living is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency whose mission is to provide seniors the most affordable premier housing with fiscal responsibility and support dignified, safe, healthy independent life.

Who We Are

Busara is a word that has roots in the Bantu, Gullah, Creole and Washitaw languages which means wisdom in action. 

The name Busara reflects prudence, sagacity, strength in adversity, overcoming, a call to valor, and uncommon strategy in difficult situations.
