It can help you process feelings and heal from past losses. Deciding to go see a counselor does not mean that a person is “sick” or that he or she is weak-willed.   Making the choice to see a counselor is courageous and an act of personal empowerment.

Busara Living provides in-home care to seniors who choose to live independently in their own homes using a sliding fee scale to determine cost for services.  Busara Living offers pickup or drop off services of mail, dry cleaners, prescriptions, etc. We also offer help with grocery shopping, light housekeeping, snack preparation, supervise guests, walking, recreational activities, reading, board games and card playing. Member residents can now order meals via the Skylight ACCESS Interactive Resident System. The system allows specific meal ordering enabled through the ACCESS integration with Computrition foodservice software.  Busara Living is one of the first in the nation to premier “digital dining” for the Meals on Wheels program.  If you have questions please contact us by e-mail at : contact@busaraliving.com

This program offers a hot meal, 2-3 times weekly, at senior centers throughout the midwest region and other areas. All seniors may participate as the objectives also include socialization, education and referral for all seniors who attend.

This senior volunteer program is geared toward active and retired persons age 55 and over, living in the area. The goal of RSVP is to provide skilled volunteers to organizations in the local area, keeping the skills and talents of volunteers in mind to create a good match.

The Self Sufficiency Coordinator helps seniors and  families make cost-effective and appropriate decisions regarding their care needs.  When a coordinator receives a internal request, a visit is scheduled and a needs assessment is completed.
